This is a fantastic membership benefit for North American MGB Register members and could easily offset, or more than offset, the cost of your NAMGBR membership, depending on the size\/cost of your classic car collection. Simply put, as a current member of the North American MGB Register, you can get a 5% discount on a new policy from Hagerty Insurance, or, if you are already a Hagerty Insurance customer, you will be able to get a 5% discount at your next renewal. NAMGBR is delighted Hagerty has offered this 5% policy discount to our members. If you need to get a valuation first, to determine the coverage you should have, please make use of the valuation tool as well, or to just check current valuations if needed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you are not currently a Hagerty Insurance policy holder, then you can take advantage of the 5% discount at the time of starting your new policy. You can also utilize the valuation tool and then move on to a quote.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Existing Hagerty Customers<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

If you already have a policy with Hagerty, call their customer service team and request your records be updated to reflect your North American MGB Register membership status. Dependent upon the state in which you are insured, you may receive a pro-rated refund for your current policy, or may not see a refund immediately \u2013 the reduced premium will be effective upon your next policy renewal date. This is regulated by the Insurance Commission in each State.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      Clarification Notes<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

      The collector car insurance discount applies to automobiles on the policy regardless of year, make, and model. The discount offer is not valid outside the USA and within the USA it is not currently available in California, Massachusetts, and Tennessee (due to State Insurance Commission regulations) \u2013 sorry. Hagerty applies the 5% discount on all individual sub sets of your policy including: Auto Liability, Medical Payments, Comprehensive and Collision. Each state regulates what coverage(s) Hagerty can discount. In short, the entire policy will not be reduced by 5%, i.e. Hagerty can\u2019t discount Hagerty Plus Roadside Assistance or additional tool coverage etc.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      Legal Description<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

      Mass Marketing Discount: A discount shall be applied to the Auto Liability, Motorcycle Passenger Liability, Medical Payments, Personal Injury Protection, Other Than Collision and Collision coverages for eligible mass marketing programs as a result of the reduced expenses related to the administration, marketing, sales and servicing of these insureds. The company must approve the use of any discount that applies. The Mass Marketing Discount applies as a result of one or more of the following conditions:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
